Denewa project

Denewa stands for German and Dutch cooperation in the field of water technology. The project focuses on two themes: treatment of hospital waste water and heat recovery from sewers. Within these two themes German and Dutch research institutes and companies work together in order to exchange knowledge, share results, stimulate the building of economical networks and cross-border cooperation.

The Denewa project is funded within the framework of the Interreg IVA program Germany-The Netherlands by the European Fund for Regional Development, the Ministry of Science, Work and Traffic of Niedersachsen, The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Province of Fryslân and the Province of Groningen. It is guided by the Ems Dollart region program management.
