The Denewa project finalized the joint work with two seminars. The seminar “Medicines in waste water; boomerang or no problem?” took place on March 11, 2015. This was a unique seminar on the topic of medicine residues in water was co-organized by Wetsus, WLN and UMCG. During this seminar, people from the health and water sectors gathered to discuss the topic of medicines in wastewater. Visions and experience were shared and new insights were gathered. The integration of water and health care sectors in such an interactive day was the main success of this seminar. For the presentations click here. At March 16, 2015 the final conference "Heat recovery from wastewater: challenges and opportunities" took place in Aurich, Germany. The presentations can be found here. The results of the different projects can be found here.

Next the 5th Denewa partner meeting took place in Sneek.
The 4th Denewa partner meeting took place on 14 Januari 2014, hosted by EDR in Bad Nieuweschans.
During the Groningen Promotiedagen, on 6 November 2013, a workshop "Heat recovery from sewers" was organised by IRO GmbH from Oldenburg, in cooperation with Waterbedrijf Groningen and Wetsus.

On 25 June 2013 the 3rd Denewa partner meeting took place, hosted by the Municipality of Groningen. At the end of this meeting the waste water project Waterland was officially opened by Mr Jan Seton, alderman urban management.
On 14 January 2013 the 2nd partner meeting took place at IRO GmbH in Oldenburg. All partners made a start with their project and the first results of the cross border cooperation became visible . New partners are interested in joining the network. During the meeting the heat recovery pilot plant from IRO was visited.
